Only problem I have with tournaments is that I would need to finish training up my team which will take ages. I will also have to replace my Mewtwo as he's an Uber and they're not usually allowed.

Oh yeah I love tourrnemts, oh to bad I havent finished my team yet :( We could do some battles which allows Uber Pokemon, only 1 or 2 though. I have some Pokemon I could replace with mine on Diamond.

Some things wot I've been thinking... Y'know that least OU team? I was looking at the news section on Smogon, and there was this 'forgotten OU tournament' which is exactly the same thing... not using the top 25 OUs or something, and using UUs that used to be OU like Milotic.

Sure, but you can't be in it with hacks. If you're going to battle somebody, then you have to make sure that they have PBR too, or else it won't work.

It depends on the tournament. You CANNOT use ANY pokemon that you AR'd to so much as even touch. Pokesav is okey if you don't want to do the EV training, but otherwise NO HACKING TOOLS.

If you want, we can make separate tournaments for each game. There has to be a set of rules, and a list of players. Once all that is set up, you must all agree on some sort of a time, and more entries shall be denied. It's all about the rules, because in tournaments like these YOU MUST FOLLOW THEM!
But if you want to do this, you have to be serious about it, and make another topic entitled "Pokemon Tournaments: D/P/Pt" or "Pokemon Tournaments: PBR"

I'm sorry AV, but that's just stupid. Just because I'm a shit battler, I"m gonna give up my shiny Machoke or my prized Giratina? Maybe Aragornbird can help with the prizes, upgrading something-or-other for the user on the forums.

it was just an idea, anyways there are better ideas, but hard ones becausa if you participate in a pokemon tornament the logic is to think that the prize will be a pokemon or a rare item

maybe a small prize can be a symbol or badge that only the winner can put on its signature maybe and if somebody steals it a mod can kick it out

Good idea, AV. You could put in your sig, 'Sole Winner of the First Arkeis Pokemon Battle Tournament!' to gloat, and then the badge/symbol underneath/above. I'd prefer that to a random rare Pokemon, although I wouldn't mind a Magmatizer/Electriviser or whatever they're called.

I like the idea of getting a rare pokémon a little but just like event pokémon idea. Probably not gonna happen so maybe a rare item like a Master Ball given to the winner. (Partially because I used mine and I don't use cheating devices (Partially because I don't have any))

The tournament organiser could find a way to make up a special event pokémon, like some of them that appear I think there was a special Weavile given out at a tournament or championship this year!
