So yeah, I've been so busy with everything for the past month or two. However, classes end next week and I graduate in three weeks. I shouldn't be too busy after that, but who knows? After graduation, I need to spend at least most of my time finding a full-time job. And when/if I do find a job, I don't know how busy I'll be.

Anyways, this topic is for anyone who would like to apply to be a co-administrator. It's a very high power position, but you must use it responsibly. Obviously, you must have been part of the forums for a long time and be constantly active.

More information on handling this position will be given to the person that I choose.

I am only hiring ONE person for this position.

If you would like to apply, please post a paragraph or two stating why you think you deserve this position. Note that an admin should be of reasonable intelligence so I AM checking for spelling/grammar.

Hello argornbird, nice to meet you! Well I guess i'll apply, who knows maybe the best person for the job is me.

I am on very often, I don't do much after school. I normally use very good grammer, most of the times I do silly typos. I am pretty responsible, I get very good grades in school ( I mispell good in my profile on purpose). I joined here about a few minutes after you hired moderators.

I actually think activebuttons ould be a good choice to.

I actually think I would be good for the position.
I care a lot about this forum, and have been active since...June? I feel I can keep the kiddies in line. I don't get the best grades in school, but I do try my hardest to spell wonderfully online. I also know my way around an Administrator control panel. I can be very helpful when I need to be, and can explain things in quite a clear manner, if I do say so myself.
I can make new skins for the forum, accept smileys, and make new sub-forums for Platinum, and make a music forum and some other gaming forums that, although they would add to the forum, would not overshadow the Pokemon forums.
I am extremely active, and can currently moderate the forum from my iPod, Cell Phone, and computer. I would never desert this forum, I am bound here until the day I die.
I am finally of legal age to be on a forum, so, thinking the worst, I would be able to deal with COPPA and not be screwed by them just in case they decide to check the forum.
I can be a bit of a rebel sometimes, and maybe just a tad mean at times. I can have the tendency to swear (heh), but I can change all that if this means getting the fabulous job of Co-Admin.
I'm not trying to be a suck-up, and am trying to be as truthful as possible.
So, consider me? I am obsessed with Arkeis, and I actually had quite a silly dream a few nights ago that I was an administrator. :3

I think I would make a good admin because; I have had experience administrating a site and I have managed to get my head aroun scripting which, if you didnt know, is upgrading the forums with things that arent accecable via the admin cp. I have the capacity to be on very regularly aswell. As of tommorow I will be fifteen, currently in year 9 at school. Residing in Melbourne, Australia. I am smart in areas of science and some aspects of English. I am also good at graphics which would help the site. Even if I dont get selected I believe that a graphics team should be set up to help gussy up the site and its features. I am easy to contact and talk to. I believe I dont spam the forums and my posts always have a point. I know my age might put you off but another site creator put his faith in me and I ended up kinda doing more than him and he left it to me... <_< I will take a lot of the weight and responsibilties onto my own shoulder, thats if you would like that^_^. Also my name...I would change if you wanted me too:lol:. I currently love arkeis mainly because its a great place to get feedback on sprites. I would like to bring more GIMP and Photoshop users to the site aswell. I would make all the new forums and sub-forums that you think the site should have. Also I can show you the site that I helped administrate. I would also love to make some new graphics for the site such as smilies, CSS skins, staff underbars(I can provide an example) and many other things.

AragornBird, while I am intelligent, fun-loving, have a weird sense of humour and would try my best to be an admin especially while I would be learning, I have to say ActiveButtons has the upper hand and is the most suitable candidate for this position (No, I am not copying off of Icydragon).

i would like to be Admin but I do like being a normal Mod so it won't mind me if i don't get it. I know how to run a Forums because I run my own. My most down fall is my age and spelling. I'm very active but I can't be on when my family come to stay but that is not very often.

I am now 16 years old and I am capable of keeping a website in shape. Also, I am great in these areas: Language, Math, and Science. I have a lot of new ideas for this forums that could really help. I don't know if I've been at this website long enough, though. I really think that Mewi1 is really good for this job also, so I wouldn't mind if he got the job, thank you! :)

I would suggest making me Co-Admin because I truly care for this forum and have been here for over a year now. I have quite a strong experience with Forums for I own one myself aswell as my own Website too. Though I am young, I act alot older than my age (most people on this forum have probably noticed that) and I think i'd make a great Admin and I can actually get your name right,(He, no offence guys) its Aragornbird not AragornBird :)

I know that I have not been here long but i am constantly active (except for the couple of weeks where my computer crashed) I am very responsible and I love this website. With this great responsibility I would keep the site safe and to watch over it. I am 14 and am reliable and have been in the world longer and understand the great opportunity that has been put out and that i must use it responsibly. All in all i would make a great candidate and hope you pick me. I also wish the other contestants the best of luck.

kk, here's my little "speech" thing.

Aragornbird, I would really love to be a co-admin or a mod, for these reasons:
First, I am constantly active. I am on Arkeis Forums almost everyday, whenever I get the chance to get on a computer with internet. The longest I have not been on Arkeis Forums is one day, three once it's May 27, because I am going to camp for three days.
Second, I am (what I think) a pretty good spriter, and I have lots of connections with YouTube. I could probably get a lot of more members to join from YouTube just by asking.
This is why I think that I should be a co-admin or a mod. I hope you consider me to be a candidate.

I will now present my speech.

I would love to become the new co-admin, and help keep Arkeis alive to the end of its life. I have much experience with admin, I have also used the Invisionfree forum system before and know my way around the Admin Control Panel and how to use it properly, and efficiently. I have pretty good spriting skills, which I put to good use making sprites for people on another forum. I have the good grammar any person should have, and can communicate well. I joined this forum last spring, and even though I stopped coming here for the longest time, I returned and quickly rejoined the community here. I recognize the fact I have not been the most active person in the world lately, but that was because of tests in school, but as of now I can visit Arkeis daily now. I will not feel bad if you do not pick me to become the new co-admin. I would even settle being a moderator as I have plenty of experience being a moderator. I would love to do anything that will help Arkeis to thrive on for many years to come, Arkeis is filled with amazing people, I wish to help the forums continue on, and on so I will respect any decision you will make on this matter, as it is all up to you who you will choose, thank you for your time in reading this.

Anyways, I have been on this forum for quite a long time.... though I did leave for a while during the 'No-Mod-Season', I was here since 2007 and I am active at times. I don't spam (at least I think I don't :P) and I have a reasonable amount of experience when it comes to forums and how they work.

I could contribute some worth-while ideas and mostly moderate the forums, cleaning it of spam.

I hope Aragornbird you pick a good person (so many good candidates!).... I think you should make a poll as too WHO will become Co-Admin :P

Yup, I guess spriting skills don't really matter in any way I can think of, except for, y'know, helping people out with their sprites. An Admin must be reliable, trustworthy, and intelligent. Nobody wants Arkeis to look ugly.

There are some forums that truly fail. Ugly, generic skins, grammar mistakes, and too many sub-forums litter the forum home. I don't want us that be that.
